The Circle of Dance Repertory Company program attempts to give the students a new vision of dance. It expands their knowledge and appreciation of dance as an art form, giving an opportunity to try dance in a noncompetitive environment. It often increases their self-confidence and self-worth. These workshops will give students an opportunity to experience dance within the school setting, combining the aesthetics, grace, and joy of movement with language and concept development goals.

When teaching dance movement, there is the natural infusion of language and concept skills into instructions and directions. Spatial, temporal, and quantitative language is used throughout the dance lessons. Following directions, sequencing, and categorization skills also weave themselves into the instruction.
